Tune Ups

Tune Ups is a seven-part documentary mini series we shot and edited over 6 months for Support Act. This series is focused on important conversations about mental health in the music industry. In the words of Fanny Lumsden, “it’s a tough gig”. Each episode centres on one artist telling their own story, and the line up included Ziggy Ramo, Barkaa and G Flip alongside Fanny Lumsden. We shot through 2020 and into 2021, planning the shoots around COVID restrictions and the artists' schedules. In the edit, every episode is built around the artist's own music, using approved tracks and instrumentals under the interview, cut with their live and performance footage, so each one feels like it belongs to the artist telling the story.
