Emerson Studios

A brand film for Emerson Studios, shot by the water in soft, overcast light. Our model moves through the collection on lakeside rocks and lawn, cream linen and relaxed tailoring catching the wind, before the Emerson Studios sign-off. This was the young Melbourne label's first campaign, called Reflexion. The idea was to play with reflections in the edit, mirroring scenes and rotating them from upside down so the film feels like it is seen in the water. We shot it over two half days at Sugarloaf Reservoir, one afternoon and one dawn session, working alongside the stills team and capturing video and BTS of every look in roughly 20 minutes each. From the shoot we cut two 15 second hero films plus individual look edits, delivered as a wide homepage banner, 9:16 stories and square feed versions.
